Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Manager of Progressive Care to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care in our progressive care unit. Your expertise and leadership will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and improve outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient care quality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Recruit, train, and develop nursing staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
  • 1+ years applicable experience Required
  • 3+ years applicable experience Preferred
  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Current license to practice professional registered nursing in the state of Texas
