The Community Banker (Teller) is a key member of our Retail Banking Center team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless banking experience for our clients. This role requires a strong focus on sales and customer relationship-building, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide personalized service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Transaction Processing: Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Sales and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to sell and cross-sell bank products and services to customers, building strong relationships and driving revenue growth.
- Cash Handling: Manage cash drawers, maintain accurate records, and balance transactions on a daily basis.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management, both in person and over the phone.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals, while maintaining a positive and supportive team environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Successful completion of in-house training program or other approved training program.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well under pressure, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
This role is based in a quiet, office environment and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. The physical and mental demands of this role are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this job.
