Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians and registered nurses with providing basic, direct patient assessment.
- Perform intake exams and health screenings, monitor vital signs, collect various swabs and specimens, and administer diagnostic tests.
- Develop, communicate, and implement patient treatment plans by evaluating patient well-being, reporting any needs to medical staff, and explaining treatments and procedures.
- Provide high standards of care and customer service to patients and families.
- Ensure comfort and well-being of patients by performing care activities, such as feeding patients, changing dressings and bandages of wounds, and transporting patients from wheelchairs, beds, and gurneys.
- Maintain organized medical records and fulfill records requests.
- Participate in ad hoc research projects to improve performance management and patient care.
- High School, GED, or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
- Arkansas LPN license.
- One year of LPN experience, or will consider new graduate with previous CNA, MA, or PCT experience.
