Job Title: Mechanic for Motorcycles and ATVs

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic for Motorcycles and ATVs to join our team at Ron Hoover RV & Marine in Harlingen, TX.

About the Job:

  • We offer competitive pay, estimated at $45,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
  • The successful candidate will have 1-3 years of experience and/or training in motorcycle and ATV repair.

Responsibilities:

  1. Inspect and diagnose problems with motorcycles and ATVs.
  2. Discuss repairs with our shop foreman or service advisor.
  3. Communicate additional service requests to our service advisor.
  4. Plan work procedures in cooperation with our shop foreman.
  5. Provide labor time estimates to our service advisor.
  6. Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on care and operation.
  7. Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs.
  8. Assist in mentoring technician trainees.
  9. Attend company and factory training.
  10. Stay current with factory technical bulletins.
  11. Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with 1-3 years of related experience and/or training.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

A valid driver's license is necessary for this position.
