Speech Language Pathologist Job Opportunity

AB Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech and language therapy services to students in a school setting.

Job Details
  • Location: Georgetown and Belton, TX
  • Population: Elementary, Middle, and High School Setting
  • Contract: 2024/2025 school year
  • Contract follows the academic district calendar
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or similar program
  • National and state certifications: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, State Speech Language Pathologist Certificate, and State License from the Department of Health Services
  • Certs: (AHA) BLS required
  • Meet pre-employment credentialing clearances (Background Check & Drug Screen)
  • Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education
  • Willingness to participate in events outside normal hours, travel as needed, and engage actively in the role
Compensation
  • $55 to $60/hr
  • $2,200 to $2,400/week based on 40 hours

Job Responsibilities
  • Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success
  • Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports
  • Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems
  • Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth
  • Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals
  • Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development
