Electrical Service Technician

AstroWatt Electric is a growing company that offers a unique work environment and opportunities for advancement. We are seeking a skilled Residential Service Electrician to join our team.

Job Summary

As a Residential Service Electrician, you will provide electrical service to residential customers, installing, maintaining, and repairing fixtures and fans. You will also troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, upgrade and install panels, and run new circuits for homeowners' needs.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical fixtures and fans.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues.
  • Upgrade and install electrical panels.
  • Install electric vehicle chargers.
  • Run new circuits for homeowners' needs.
  • Identify materials and quantities needed for repairs and new projects.
  • Drive a company-provided vehicle on pre-determined daily routes.
  • Use a mobile application to take customer notes, track time on job, and provide final invoice to customer.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Maintain vehicle and equipment via daily checks.
  • Follow established processes and procedures while maintaining safety.
Qualifications and Skills
  • High School Diploma (or GED equivalent)
  • Valid Driver's License in the State of North Carolina
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
  • 2+ years of experience in the electrical field
  • Familiarity with ServiceTitan

Compensation
  • Annual wage ranges between $50,000 and $120,000+ depending on skills and expertise.
  • Quarterly bonuses based on performance.
