Key Responsibilities
Oversee the management of budgets, schedules, and the efficient operation of all maintenance activities (including equipment, facilities, and personnel) while fostering enhanced performance, employee development, and engagement at the manufacturing facility.
Formulate and execute objectives and action plans for the maintenance function, ensuring alignment with US manufacturing, Supply Chain, and other business partners to meet organizational goals: safety, quality, cost, delivery, and workforce.
Promote team effectiveness through clear communication; coaching and counseling; monitoring and evaluating job performance; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing policies, procedures, and requirements; selection, training, and development; while maintaining a safe, secure, and legally compliant workplace.
Drive ongoing enhancement of maintenance systems, processes, and personnel through the application of LEAN and other methodologies, alongside effective capability assessments, strategy development, and action plans, including change management and optimization of both internal and external resources.
Administer efficient and effective cost management for areas of responsibility (e.g., project scoping, capital requirement forecasting, annual budget preparation, expenditure approval, variance analysis, and corrective action initiation) while ensuring robust support for manufacturing operations.
Facilitate effective collaboration with manufacturing, quality, safety, engineering, human resources, finance, purchasing, and other business functions.
Exemplify compliance with all company and regulatory policies and procedures (e.g., safety, quality, finance, human resources, legal).
