Pegasus Aviation Services is a leading aviation contractor that supports domestic and international passenger and freighter airlines. We are seeking an experienced Aviation Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in the industrial maintenance field and be proficient in operating ground service equipment (GSE). The specialist will be responsible for overseeing all ground support equipment maintenance programs, assisting the company to meet goals through the provision of services specific to Pegasus, and maintaining, repairing, and performing maintenance on aircraft ground support equipment as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair GSE to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Troubleshoot mechanical problems on GSE and coordinate repairs
  • Operate aircraft de-icing equipment and participate in deicing events
  • Repair electric/hydraulic systems and read electrical/hydraulic schematics
  • Coordinate emergency repair calls while on duty

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or GED
  • 5 years of experience in the industrial maintenance field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift 60 pounds comfortably
  • Good communication skills
