Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center. As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement and evaluate care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care.
  • Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy.
  • Delegate tasks to non-licensed staff as needed.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on care and treatments.
  • Facilitate discharge plans in collaboration with the care team.
Requirements
  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
