Job Title: Language Arts Instructor

Job Summary:

AoPS Academy, a leading provider of advanced education, is seeking a part-time Language Arts Instructor to join our team. As an Instructor, you will play a crucial role in delivering our engaging Language Arts curriculum to high-achieving students.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver lessons created by our curriculum team.
  • Engage students in the course material and facilitate discussions in a collaborative classroom environment.
  • Manage a classroom of up to 16 students and provide individualized attention as needed.
  • Grade students' tests and provide comprehensive feedback on writing assignments.
  • Meet with students and families, as needed, during designated office hours.
  • Substitute for classes from time to time (optional).

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in education or a humanities field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience teaching or tutoring students, preferably at the K-12 level.
  • Strong content knowledge in reading, writing, and grammar, with the ability to help students navigate advanced concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
