About the Opportunity

DMI is currently seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to support a Federal Government customer in the DC metro area. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting Salesforce-related engagements. Additionally, the Senior Salesforce Developer will serve as a trusted advisor to our team and clients, leveraging their expertise in the Salesforce platform and other solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform, primarily focusing on leveraging OmniStudio and Flex Pages.
  2. Utilize Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce specifically tailored for OmniStudio and Flex Pages development.
  3. Design and develop Flex Pages, Lightning Web Components, and other relevant components within OmniStudio to enhance user experience and streamline business processes.
  4. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Salesforce OOB, LWC, OmniStudio, and Flex Pages capabilities.
  5. Implement and maintain advanced functionalities within OmniStudio, including creating dynamic layouts, data integration, and process automation.
  6. Develop and customize Velocity templates to generate personalized content and communications within the Salesforce platform.
  7. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of OmniStudio and Flex Pages solutions to ensure reliability and performance.
  8. Document technical designs, configurations, and customizations related to OmniStudio and Flex Pages development.
  9. Work collaboratively with Salesforce Administrators and other team members to ensure seamless integration of OmniStudio and Flex Pages solutions with existing Salesforce environments.
  10. Stay updated on the latest features and best practices related to OmniStudio and Flex Pages development within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  11. Provide training and support to end-users on the usage and maintenance of OmniStudio and Flex Pages solutions.
  12. Continuously optimize and improve OmniStudio and Flex Pages implementations to align with evolving business needs and objectives.
  13. Groom and refine the Salesforce product backlog, in liaison with stakeholders on the project.
Best Practices:
  1. Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write/maintain test classes for all custom development.
  2. Integrate and maintain business applications to Salesforce.
QualificationsEducation and Years of Experience:

Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field preferred.

Salesforce product knowledge and at least 12+ years of Salesforce development experience.

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:
  1. Strong experience with configuration, customization, programming with APEX APIs, OmniStudio.
  2. Strong experience working with Salesforce APIs.
  3. Experience implementing and developing in Apex, LWC, Visualforce.
  4. Ability to problem solve high-level software and application issues.
  5. Proficient with Salesforce Lightning Design System and the Salesforce development lifecycle.
  6. Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Hybrid (Office/Remote, US) Once a week to office in Tysons VA.
