Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled International Recruitment Manager to join our team at the Center for Global Engagement. This dynamic individual will be responsible for developing and implementing international recruitment strategies to enhance overall international student enrollment at James Madison University.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage international recruitment efforts, including marketing and communication, event planning, and coordination with Undergraduate Admissions, The Graduate School, and Marketing.
  • Serve as the primary contact person for various recruitment agencies and maintain relationships with prospective international students, sponsors, parents, school counselors, and local recruiting agencies.
  • Provide information and guidance on immigration visa requirements, housing, health insurance, and academics.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Project management experience, preferably in a post-secondary institution setting.
  • Understanding of the international student experience and a passion for international education.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse cultures and build relationships with prospective international students, recruitment agencies, sponsoring embassies, and government entities.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $70,000, based on the national average for similar positions in the United States. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
