We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at DispatchHealth, a rapidly growing healthcare startup. Located in Washington D.C., this exciting opportunity will allow you to provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic clinical care team, delivering comprehensive health assessments, diagnosing and treating complex illnesses, and providing therapeutic interventions. You will have the autonomy to make informed decisions, utilizing critical thinking skills and evidence-based standards of practice.

  • Perform home visits, assessing patients' conditions and developing personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with DispatchHealth Medical Technicians (DHMTs) and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Administer medications, perform minor procedures, and provide wound care, all while maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients and families.
Requirements:

To be considered for this rewarding role, applicants must possess:

  • A minimum of two years' experience as an APP in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, or related fields.
  • Current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Nationally board certification and DEA registration.
  • Ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds and walk up/down stairs easily.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
