Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director/Psychiatrist to join our team at Life Strategies Counseling, Inc. (LSCI). This is a hybrid role that combines leadership and patient care responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric care, medication assessments, and crisis response to new and existing outpatient clients.
  • Oversee clinical operations at multiple Life Strategies locations throughout Arkansas.
  • Directly supervise Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) to ensure exceptional patient care.
  • Develop individual evaluations based on assessment data and provide therapeutic interventions as necessary, including ongoing medication management services.
  • Review, evaluate, and collaborate with other professionals to discuss treatment plans, progress, and outcomes.
  • Provide consultation and health education to agency staff and clients regarding treatment and medication needs.
  • Respond to psychiatric emergencies for appropriate intervention and evaluations.
Requirements
  • Must be an MD/DO psychiatrist licensed in Arkansas.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience.
  • Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
  • Solid computer and basic technology skills.
