Colorectal Surgery & Urology:
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Nurse to provide high-quality care for patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery at Albany Medical Center.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with post-surgical procedures such as chest tube insertion, wound vac changes, and catheter care.
- Administering medications, performing treatments, and implementing physician orders.
- Assessing and evaluating patient needs and responses to care.
- Collaborating with the nursing team to create a comprehensive Plan of Care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of a professional nursing program with current NYS Registered Nurse license.
- Certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development through continuing education.
