We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Banquet Houseperson to join our team at Sonesta International Hotels. As a Banquet Houseperson, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of events and meetings in our banquet facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Event Setup and Breakdown: Set up and break down tables, chairs, audio visual equipment, and other necessary items for events and meetings.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of banquet rooms, corridors, and storage areas.
- Equipment Management: Inspect and report any damages or issues with equipment, and ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.
- Supply Management: Replenish supplies, water pitchers, and other necessary items during events and meetings.
- Logistics and Transportation: Retrieve and deliver boxes and materials for events and meetings.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure that all events and meetings are executed flawlessly.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
