Responsibilities:

  • Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and clothing
  • Operate laundry equipment and ensure proper maintenance
  • Follow infection prevention guidelines to handle contaminated laundry
  • Participate in laundry collection and sorting, as well as the handling, storage, and distribution of clean laundry

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to use a computer and prior cleaning experience in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of materials, equipment, and methods used in cleaning
