About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Data Entry Associate to join our team at AdaptHealth LLC. As a Healthcare Data Entry Associate, you will be responsible for accurately and timely data entry, inventory selection, communication with referral sources, and patient information notation.

Job Summary:

This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter referrals within allotted timeframe and meet productivity and quality standards.
  • Communicate with referral sources, physicians, and staff to ensure documentation is routed correctly.
  • Accurately enter referrals into the system based on referral type.
  • Work with local leadership to ensure appropriate inventory and services are provided.
  • Assist with regional team functions as needed.
  • Communicate with non-Medicaid patients about financial responsibility, collect payment, and document in the patient record.
  • Follow company philosophies and procedures to ensure proper shipping methods are used for service delivery.
  • Answer phone calls in a timely manner and assist callers.
  • Review medical records for non-sales assisted referrals to ensure compliance standards are met prior to service being rendered.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have a High School Diploma and one year of work experience in healthcare administrative, financial, or insurance customer services, claims, billing, call center, or management, regardless of industry. Exact job experience in Medicare certified HME, IV, or HH environments that routinely bills insurance is also preferred.

Estimated Salary:$45,000 - $60,000 per year
