About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Student Nurse Intern to join our team at Mayo Clinic. As a Student Nurse Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Collect data and provide input to the RN to assist in developing and updating an individualized plan of care.
  • Document patient care in accordance with documentation guidelines.
  • Monitor the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and patient care.
  • Provide patient with basic healthcare instruction while delivering care.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of the junior year of an accredited baccalaureate nursing program and is a senior in good standing or completion of an adult process and two semesters in nursing of an accredited ADN program as recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN- formerly NLN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) in good standing or successfully completed two full clinical rotations of a direct entry Master of Science in nursing program by December 2025 or May 2026.
  • Valid BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association, Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
