Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Specialist to join our team at Skytron. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing medical equipment, including surgical lights, tables, and booms. You will also provide remote technical support and diagnostics to external healthcare customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install equipment using manufacturer specifications
  • Inspect and test malfunctioning equipment using test and analysis instruments
  • Disassemble and repair or replace defective mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical parts
  • Provide remote technical support and diagnostics to external healthcare customers
  • Maintain factory certification and proficiency on all servicing product lines
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain fiber optic low voltage and media cables
Requirements
  • Capably handle required administrative functions
  • Understand and apply knowledge to install, diagnose, and repair medical devices and equipment
  • Verify work to ensure accurate results
  • Follow work instructions, procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies
  • Meet productivity standards, deadlines, and project schedules
  • Communicate effectively with various levels of employees and customers
