The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and experience in supervising teams. You will provide leadership and management to departments on individual shifts to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Enforce mandatory safety requirements, conduct safety observations, and monitor policies for improvement.
- Support departments on individual shifts, providing technical guidance and expertise.
- Participate in meetings discussing quality, safety, performance, staffing, art, shipping, and scheduling.
- Work with direct reports to resolve conflicts and difficult situations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to implement departmental initiatives aligned with plant operational goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
- Regularly evaluate employee performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
- Communicate effectively with peers, other departments, and team leaders to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and maintain a culture of safety, quality, and excellence within the team.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
- A minimum two-year certificate from college or technical school in Management or a related program, or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of two years progressive experience in supervising roles, preferably in a LEAN manufacturing environment.
