Job Summary:

The Intern - Manufacturing Engineering will assist in the design, development, and testing of manufacturing processes and equipment. You will work closely with our engineering team to identify and solve problems, and contribute to the improvement of our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the design and development of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  2. Conduct experiments and collect data to analyze and improve manufacturing processes.
  3. Work with multidisciplinary teams to identify and solve problems.
  4. Develop and implement solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.
  5. Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and test new equipment and processes.
  6. Analyze data and present findings to the engineering team.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing a degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8 or higher.
  • Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Monday-Friday).
  • Able to come on site to our Somersworth, NH location during worked hours.
  • Ability to commute to and from Somersworth and Rochester facilities (as needed).
  • Minimum sophomore standing or higher.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
  • Basic math skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Exposure to Statistical Methods.
  • Data collection and data analysis.
  • Problem Solving.
  • Minitab and/or Six Sigma.
