We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with end-stage renal disease. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment to our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Assist with patient education on kidney dialysis-related topics
- Work collaboratively with our cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other experienced PCTs
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be comfortable working around blood and needles
- Must be willing to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed
- Healthcare experience a plus, including BONENT certification, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification
