We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Mount Nittany Health. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU/PCU setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Monitor and manage patient's vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Current National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Critical Care Nursing.
