**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Service Associate to join our team at University Health. As a key member of our Service Coordination team, you will play a vital role in supporting medical, behavioral, and social support staff to provide holistic evaluations and education to STAR Kids Members and their families.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Healthcare Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect service coordination support to STAR Kids members, including scheduling, authorizations processing, telephonic outreach, and generating required reports. You will also be expected to comply with University Health's policies, procedures, and protocols for establishing and maintaining good working relationships with co-workers, Health System employees, patients, and guests.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and direct experience working with children and young adults with disabilities in three of the last five years. Knowledge of e-mail and utilization management tools is preferred, as is experience with healthcare application systems. A Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited school or certification from an approved credentialing body for medical assistants is also desirable.

**Compensation Package**

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
