About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Compliance Officer to join our project management team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing commercial and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring timely execution, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners.


Responsibilities:



  • Manage site services contracts supporting SMS foreign entities for work at US sites
  • Coordinate commercial activities with SMS personnel at the project construction site
  • Implement end-to-end contract management, financial management, project cost controlling, risk, and claims management for small capital projects and service contracts
  • Monitor projects from a contractual and commercial perspective
  • Ensure contractually compliant communication with customers and all contractual partners
  • Maintain project overview and ensure commercial project success
  • Carry out monthly project reporting
  • Prepare and coordinate consortium contracts and commercial management of consortiums, including payment release, change management, and claims management
  • Assist Commercial Project Managers in construction site coordination and other administrative support for complex projects
  • Evaluate and implement commercial project management standards and requirements
  • Manage customer requirements (timely invoicing)

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or similar field preferred; Associate Degree combined with paralegal certification considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in comparable position
  • Basic understanding of contract language and ability to negotiate, interpret, and carry out contract terms
  • Knowledge of project controlling, accounting, finance, and contract management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel required
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Strong ability to communicate and exercise effective interpersonal skills necessary
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail necessary
