Warehouse Stocker

Job Summary:

Restaurant Depot is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Stocker - Smallwares to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking product on shelves, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service to internal and external customers

Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves, as well as opens boxes and removes single items to re-stock shelves

Organizes and front-faces items on shelves to ensure a visually appealing store environment

Performs regular inspections to meet HACCP regulations and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures

Assists in the review of inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damages

Ensures shelf pricing is accurate and reflects the most recent pricing

Maintains a clean and safe work environment by following a regular maintenance schedule of scrubbing and pulling out pallets and cleaning underneath

Continuously reviews the status of department floors for safety hazards and promptly addresses any issues

Works with Hi-Lo operators to ensure the selling floor remains stocked and safe by promptly returning overstock pallets to the overhead reserves

Promptly informs supervisors of any low stock or out-of-stock merchandise

Requirements:

Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with frequent exposure to cold and freezing temperatures

Ability to frequently push, pull, and lift objects weighing up to 60 pounds

Ability to stand for long periods and walk on concrete for up to 10 hours per day

Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude

High school diploma or equivalent required
