Position Overview

JOB SUMMARY:

As a valued member of Pyramid Global Hospitality, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our resort, located in a picturesque setting. The Engineering Supervisor will support the Assistant Chief Engineer and Chief Engineer in managing the engineering team, ensuring that all maintenance requests and guest needs are addressed promptly and effectively.

Key responsibilities include executing various work order tasks and maintaining a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all equipment.


BASIC FUNCTION:
To assist in the upkeep of property operations while supervising and training staff on established policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector is essential. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Certification as a pool operator is advantageous. Candidates should possess the ability to read and interpret HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing blueprints, as well as proficiency in using hand and power tools. Familiarity with wire and schematic diagrams and the proper use of a multimeter is also necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist in training and supervising the engineering staff in alignment with property operations and company policies. Address guest concerns and manage all requests effectively. Identify issues, initiate work orders, complete assigned tasks, and perform necessary repairs. Conduct preventative and general maintenance tasks (such as changing filters and conducting facility inspections) while maintaining organized logs. Complete duty rounds checklists and rectify any identified issues.

Responsible for the correct operation of office equipment and computer systems, including the EMS system and Life Safety Systems (training will be provided).

Conduct swimming pool chemical tests and implement necessary adjustments, with training provided.

As part of the Property Operations team, assistance may be required with general duties of the Grounds team, including landscaping, seasonal decorations, waste removal, and snow and ice management, among other projects.


MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
May be required to perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.

Work hours may vary based on business needs and may include holidays, weekends, various shifts, overtime, or reduced hours.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Engagement in all areas of the property, both indoors and outdoors, potentially in adverse weather conditions. Must be capable of working at various heights using ladders, roofs, etc.
