Job Title:

Financial Analyst - Accounts Payable

Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst - Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for a full cycle of payables, including verifying, auditing, processing, and allocating invoices and expense reports. This role requires strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and verify invoices and check requests.
  • Code and match invoices.
  • Prepare accruals for monthly close.
  • Post journal entries to the general ledger.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
  • Assist in the monthly invoicing to the Airlines, Concessionaires, and Department of Aviation.
  • Act as the concession coordinator, responsible for invoicing monthly with associated details.
  • Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval.
  • Maintain AP files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related Business field.
  • 2+ years' experience in an accounting position specializing in accounts payable required.
  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Core computer and applications competency relevant to the role, including MS Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
  • Must be able to pass requirements for approval for an ATL badge with customs seal, including a 10-year background search by fingerprint analysis.
