Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans, maintaining patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain necessary medical, surgical, and radiological supplies for procedures according to established protocols.
  • Maintain sterility of the field and instruments.
  • Prepare requisitions correctly.
  • Communicate with patients and families before, during, and after procedures to alleviate anxiety and maintain patient privacy and dignity.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and respect patient privacy.
  • Verify patient identification according to AHS policy.
  • Observe patient condition before and after contrast injections and report any sudden changes to nursing staff and radiologists.
  • Ensure availability of medical records, previous reports, labs, and patient history.
  • Initiate emergency response in case of complications.
  • Maintain adequate linen supplies in each scanning room.
  • Maintain adequate contrast media and biopsy/drainage supplies in each scanning room.
  • Adhere to room assignments (CT 1, 2, and 3).
  • Assist in maintaining CT storeroom and outside inventory.
  • Participate in daily inventory and stocking of supplies.
  • Notify Lead of expired or soon-to-expire equipment or medications.
  • Clean and inventory supplies.
  • Participate in routine cleaning of the CT gantry, table, and peripheral equipment after each use.
Requirements:
  • ARRT certification
  • BLS certification
  • Emergency response training
  • HIPAA compliance
  • Radiographer experience
  • Venipuncture skills

Tact Staff offers a competitive pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
