Job Description: Electromechanical Technician

This technician will join our quality team of engineers and inspectors and work under the guidance of our quality engineers. To work closely with engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, and other quality personnel. To excel in this key role, you must be able to communicate clearly and interpret technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs in-process and finished goods inspections and test operations.
  • Performs process audits to ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Ensures calibrations are up-to-date on inspection and test equipment.
  • Records and analyzes data.
  • Maintains Statistical Process Control charts.
  • Coordinates teams to resolve process and product quality issues.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement.
  • Performs experiments to aid in evaluation of engineering change proposals.
  • Assists in inspection of incoming materials.
  • Trains others to inspect parts.
  • Records data and operation completeness in computer systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quality or math field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in quality inspection of electro-mechanical equipment.
  • ASQ certifications and experience using and programming CMM equipment are helpful.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a production environment with various equipment.

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.
