Job Summary:

As a Radiology Imaging Specialist at Baptist Memorial Health Care, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients. This position requires a strong understanding of radiologic principles and the ability to utilize established hospital protocols and guidelines to implement procedure/treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procedure/treatment plans utilizing established hospital protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform imaging procedures/treatments according to radiology practice standards to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease.
  • Maintain equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
  • Participate in hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure that patient care is consistent with established standards.

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in an approved/accredited Radiology Program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire date.
  • BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
  • Basic computer literacy skills.
