Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals as a Respiratory Therapist at Amergis. This 36-48 hour shift, 7p-7a position requires experience in NICU/PICU.

About the Position

You will work closely with doctors to provide respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation. Your responsibilities will include:

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs, plan outcomes, and evaluate patients for lung or breathing disorders.
  • Collaborate with physicians to determine therapy and treatment options.
  • Manage respiratory/pulmonary equipment and devices, and educate patients and families about lung diseases and breathing disorders.
  • Perform interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and hospital policies.
What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration.
  • One year of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred.
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
