Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team at a privately owned outpatient therapy clinic in Buchanan, MI. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients' conditions, creating customized treatment plans, and providing top-notch care in a 1:1 therapist-to-patient ratio setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients' specific conditions to identify individual needs and goals, and create tailored treatment plans.
  • Minimize medication reliance and offer surgery alternatives when suitable.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive treatment.
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation, and provide exercise-based home programs throughout the patient's treatment journey.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and consult with other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Educate patients on proper care and the use of various therapies and exercises.
  • Adhere to clinic policies and procedures.
  • Act as a resource for information and education for patients, their families, and staff.

Requirements:

  • BS, MA, MS, or DPT in Physical Therapy.
  • Licensed in the state of Michigan.
  • CPR Certified.
  • Proven work experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Previous outpatient orthopedics background preferred, but not required.
  • Current knowledge of treatment practices.
