We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Mother Baby Unit at Mercy Hospital OKC. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to new mothers and their babies.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized care to patients in the Mother Baby Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
