Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of settings, including acute care hospitals and clinics.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of safety, respect, and open communication.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital setting.
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
