We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse I to join our Surgical Unit at Hoag Memorial Hospital. As a member of our team, you will provide direct inpatient nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac medical and/or cardiac surgical diagnoses.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized care to patients with complex medical and surgical needs
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assessing and addressing the nutritional needs of patients
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Active California RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Completion of an EKG course or equivalent
- A minimum of one (1) year of recent acute hospital experience
- Successful completion of Critical Care Course prior to assuming care of patients in critical care areas
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
