Research Scientist

Compunnel Inc. offers a competitive salary of $63,000 - $85,000 per year for our Chemistry Laboratory Technician position in Indianapolis, IN.

As a key member of our analytical team, you will assist with HPLC analysis of materials and support routine sample preparation and characterization. You will also be responsible for compliance with laboratory safety procedures and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with qualifying new active ingredient and raw material sources and supports shelf life date extensions for existing products.
• Consistently applies sound scientific methods to solve technical problems.
• Run and operate sample characterization instrumentation.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in research or manufacturing/engineering is required.
• A strong understanding of chemistry principles and laboratory practices is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for articulating information and data sharing with stakeholders.

Education and Qualifications:

• A BS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry or related fields is required.
• Experience with the design and development of formulations is highly desirable.
