About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Practitioner to join our team at E-talentnetwork. This is a full-time opportunity, 40 hours a week, with an estimated annual salary of $180,000 - $220,000 depending on experience.

About the Role
  • This is a locum tenens coverage opportunity, requiring immediate availability (pending credentialing).
  • The initial appointment is for a 3-month assignment, with the option to extend for another 3-6 months if the position remains unfilled.
  • The practitioner will work closely with the attending psychiatrist/practitioner to ensure high-quality patient care and complete admission medical assessments as needed.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including examination, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of medical illnesses for adult and geriatric psychiatric inpatient populations.
  • Monitor patients' progress, including laboratory values and special procedures with appropriate follow-up or referrals as needed.
  • Complete admission medical assessments and order diagnostic/therapeutic tests and procedures as needed.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Physician/Practitioner.
  • Strong experience working with adult admissions or geriatric admissions and acute and chronic health management of adult and geriatric populations.
  • Psiatric Crisis Management and Forensic experience, a plus.
