Position Overview:
As an Electrical Systems Commissioning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) across various sectors including industrial facilities, healthcare establishments, and educational institutions. This position requires flexibility for evening and weekend work, and may involve significant travel to client locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the installation and commissioning of EPMS at diverse client sites.
  • Work collaboratively with contractors and end-users, ensuring effective communication throughout the construction process.
  • Oversee the installation, customization, and integration of EPMS software, along with troubleshooting and start-up of electrical monitoring systems.
  • Provide comprehensive training to clients and assist in resolving device communication issues.
  • Document system requirements and maintain accurate records of the as-built system.
  • Prepare for extensive travel, with potential overnight stays at client locations.

Qualifications:
A two-year technical degree in electrical power systems or electronics is preferred. Candidates should have at least one year of relevant experience in areas such as Electrical Power Monitoring Systems, Building Automation, or Energy Management Systems. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and contract specifications is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are required.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with electrical equipment and a solid understanding of power generation and distribution.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard communication protocols and computer networking.
  • Experience with proprietary software and relevant certifications is advantageous.
