We are currently in search of a Mechanical Assembler to join our dedicated team.
The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for tasks related to the assembly and testing of all Mark-7 equipment manufactured at our facility. This role involves close collaboration with Production Management and Quality Assurance/Quality Control teams to ensure that productivity and quality targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble components by putting together parts and subassemblies.
- Interpret and understand drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Align and position components and parts, using both manual methods and fixtures.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, or specialized machinery for assembly tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including tools and equipment.
- Examine connections for proper fit and secure parts and subassemblies.
- Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
- Report any assembly issues to the supervisor and seek additional resources for resolution.
- Ensure equipment remains operational by performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting malfunctions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Assist in inventory management through cycle counts.
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong safety awareness and a commitment to quality control.
- Self-motivated with a sense of urgency.
- Good dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling small parts.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical drawings.
- Capability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is advantageous.
Position Details:
This is a full-time role, typically requiring 40 hours per week, with standard hours from Monday to Friday. Overtime may be necessary based on production demands.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, and sitting.
- Regular use of hand tools and small power tools.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently, 25 pounds occasionally, and 50 pounds rarely.
- Visual abilities must include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
