Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in the greater Baltimore area. As a contract SLP, you will work in educational environments, collaborating with school districts to provide speech therapy services to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Therapy: Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs, and deliver individual and group therapy sessions to address these needs.
  • Caseload Management: Organize and manage student caseloads, establishing timetables for each school assigned.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators regarding speech and language issues, and collaborate with the speech coordinator to determine school campuses.
  • Record Keeping and Progress Reports: Maintain accurate records for all students in the caseload, and provide progress reports to parents regarding students' advancements.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Maryland SLP license, excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and current knowledge of Maryland Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs working in school environments.
