Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety and security of all individuals present at the facility.
  • Maintain a secure front desk area and enforce operational guidelines.
  • Continuously monitor clients, units, and grounds to uphold safety standards.
  • Implement shelter policies and adhere to staff regulations.
  • Conduct administrative tasks, including documenting resident activities and behaviors.
  • Assist clients with inquiries and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Review surveillance footage of common areas to ensure safety.
  • Follow safety, health, and fire hazard protocols in alignment with organizational values.
  • Perform regular rounds throughout the facility.
  • Report any safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with security staff to maintain a safe environment.
  • Prepare units for new residents, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Document incidents thoroughly, including details and outcomes.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • F-02 Certificate of Fitness and CPR/Basic First Aid certification.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries with residents.
  • Familiarity with residential facility operations is preferred.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and standards.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is advantageous.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Dedication to high standards and excellence.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Capability to assess and respond to emergency situations effectively.
