Position Overview
The Creative team at JobsOhio is on the lookout for a Creative Operations Manager. This position is crucial for enhancing creative workflows within the integrated marketing team by engaging deeply with diverse creative processes, both internally and with external agency partners. Collaborating closely with the Director of Creative Services, this role supports innovative ideation and strategic storytelling. The Creative Operations Manager is responsible for steering creative operations, identifying workflow inefficiencies, and proposing solutions to enhance and streamline outcomes. They possess the ability to clearly articulate project objectives and goals to advance various creative requirements, including video production, motion graphics, design, copywriting, photography, and more, while managing key stakeholders and adhering to strict timelines. A detail-oriented mindset, collaborative spirit, and proactive communication skills are essential. This role serves as a vital point of contact for creative requirements, necessitating a solid understanding of creative development processes and technical approaches to achieve optimal results.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee creative operations and logistics, including timelines, resource allocation, and capacity assessments for both internal team members and agency partners, balancing daily operations with new strategic projects.
- Take full ownership of creative processes within project management software and digital asset management systems.
- Collaborate within an Integrated Marketing Team to meet with key stakeholders, defining project objectives, scope, and creative project requirements while effectively communicating deliverables and expectations.
- Manage daily creative challenges efficiently, maintaining proactive communication with various stakeholders, and knowing when to escalate issues to the Director of Creative Services.
- Continuously seek opportunities to identify and propose solutions that enhance operational efficiencies and maximize workflow outcomes.
- Keep internal teams and agency partners informed about project statuses through various communication channels, including project management tools, meetings, emails, and messaging platforms.
- Coordinate a variety of creative projects, including video production, photography, and creative materials for events and advertisements.
- Act as a responsible steward of organizational resources and budgets.
- Assist in conveying creative direction and vision to assigned creative team members and agency partners to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.
- Support creative ideation aligned with Brand Strategy objectives and stakeholder goals.
- Serve as a brand advocate, ensuring alignment of our brand's visual and messaging platforms with agencies from project initiation to final delivery.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in creative operations within an advertising, marketing agency, or creative team.
- Experience in managing agency relationships and collaborating with creative teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and digital asset management tools.
- Experience in directing agency relationships and/or managing creative operations.
- Strong vendor management and project management skills.
- Excellent relationship management abilities across cross-functional teams.
- Capability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize high-impact projects.
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Motivated, flexible, and results-oriented mindset.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, creative fields, or equivalent experience.
