Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Actalent. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of laboratory results for patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process laboratory specimens, including human body fluids, tissues, clinical specimens, and microbiological isolates, to ensure accurate and quality results.
  • Assist in areas throughout the core lab and adapt to a changing environment with new instruments and testing methods.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations.
  • Develop and maintain a growth mindset, embracing new challenges and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • Hematology experience
  • Uranalysis biochemistry experience
  • PCR testing experience
  • DNA extraction and purification experience
  • Medical laboratory testing experience
  • ASCP and/or AMT eligibility
  • Experience working in CLIA and/or CAP certified laboratories
  • Hands-on experience with DxI and DxC or Abbot Alinity H analyzers (preferred but not required)
  • GCLP experience
