We are seeking a skilled Child & Family Therapist to join our team at Compass Health in Bellingham, WA.
About the Role:This is a full-time position in our Children's Intensive Services (WISe) program, where you will work with children and their families to provide individualized, creative, and strength-based approaches within the wraparound model.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, working to support youth and caregivers in maintaining children in a least restrictive and community-based environment.
Responsibilities:- Deliver clinical services using evidenced-based practice models.
- Participate in the rotation of an after-hours crisis/emergency response, including initial crisis assessment, safety risk, and outreach if needed.
- Work with families to identify strengths, build natural supports, and foster self-sufficiency.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- MA/MS/MSW Degree in a Behavioral Science related field required.
- Qualifies as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) as defined by WAC.
- Meets educational and training requirements for designation as a Child Mental Health Specialist preferred.
- Ability to pass pre-employment criminal background check.
