Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced physician to join our team as a Faculty Specialty Advisor. As a Faculty Specialty Advisor, you will play a critical role in guiding students through their medical specialty choices, providing support and resources to help them succeed in their careers.

Your primary responsibilities will include meeting with students individually and in groups, developing resource lists, and creating curriculum materials. You will also attend faculty meetings, participate in training sessions, and engage in administrative duties. In addition, you will write letters of recommendation and conduct mock interviews as needed.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to educating future physicians. A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree is required, as well as experience working in a medical setting.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. If you are passionate about education and mentoring, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet with students individually and in groups to discuss career paths and provide guidance
  • Develop resource lists for students highlighting possible mentors, research opportunities, and professional organization information

  • Create curriculum materials, including introductory sessions and presentations
  • Write letters of recommendation and conduct mock interviews as needed

Requirements:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
