Janitorial Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Associate to join our team at Clark's Market in Crested Butte, CO. As a Janitorial Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our grocery store, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.

• Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas of the store, including aisles, restrooms, and break rooms.
• Dusting and Cleaning: Dust and clean surfaces, shelves, and displays.
• Trash and Recycling: Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
• Supply Replenishment: Replenish restroom supplies (e.g., toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels).
• High-Touch Area Cleaning: Clean and sanitize high-touch areas such as door handles, shopping carts, and checkout counters.
• Deep Cleaning: Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned, including carpet cleaning and floor waxing.
• Window and Glass Cleaning: Clean windows, glass doors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintenance and Repair: Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the store management and assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance in a friendly and professional manner.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Age: 18 years of age or older.
• Experience: Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is an advantage.
• Skills: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, strong attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Physical Demands: Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
