Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tire Technician to join our team at Town Fair Tire. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, balancing, and maintenance of tires for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and balance tires on vehicles, ensuring proper fitment and safety.
- Conduct visual inspections of tires and wheels to identify any damage or wear.
- Use specialized equipment to dismount and remount tires, and to balance wheels.
- Handle and store scrap tires in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in tire installation and balancing, or related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
