This part-time, hourly position will be responsible for developing and administering safe and effective fitness programs, promoting personal training and fitness programs, and performing fitness evaluations and personal training appointments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement fitness programs that meet the needs of our members, including personal training, group exercise, and aquatics.
- Promote fitness programs and services to members, highlighting the benefits of personal training and fitness programs.
- Conduct fitness evaluations and personal training appointments, ensuring that members receive a high-quality experience.
- Develop and maintain relationships with members, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement new programs and services.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. Sports Medicine, Exercise Physiology) preferred.
- Current, nationally recognized Personal Training certification required.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a related field; experience working with diverse populations a plus.
- Ability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends; flexibility to meet member needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
